Week 4
[Well that was a fun trial, wasn't it? An innocent man got brutally killed by everyone, and while you found out more about the person responsible of all this all it really amounts to is "The Genie is insistent that you don't want to meet him".
And yet you took this warning from a powerful being to go "yeah we can take them!". Y'all oughta be ashamed of yourselves.
On the bright side though, when you wake up you will find out that more of the island has opened up! It's not much but at least you can wash your clothes.
... There is a nonzero chance that the Genie quickly built that as an apology for all that blood. Whoops.]
[ SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY ]

[As a reminder, please submit your Week 3 activity check before July 15th, 1 PM EST! Dead characters just have to check in.]

SUNDAY

Cassandra wanted out.
Early in the morning, she's gone out to the walrus pit for the sake of hanging up a freshly made sign on a long stick. Because apparently someone thought it was a grand idea to put a hole filled with walruses on this island without a railing. The sing reads simply:
Do not fall into the Walrus pit.
Do not LAUNCH yourself into the walrus pit.
-Cassandra
Into the middle of the day, she's traveled to the new section of the island. Find her wandering into Jessica's and hastily marching out after a few minutes of looking. Her face now red as a fresh sunburn.
Or later still, catch her inside the laundromat. Standing off to the side, facing a wall that had a set of instructions stuck to it... of some sort. Her arms are crossed over her chest, brow knit. She doesn't speak for a good minute or so. Hmmmmm....]
...Ugh. What do you mean?

Jessica's
... Unfortunately for Cass, she runs into Rapunzel in probably the last place that she'd ever want to. The princess is looking at the lingerie racks, a fascinated smile on her face.]
Cass, look at this! [Oh god no she's holding something that looks suspiciously like a bra straight up-] I didn't think clothes could get this small!

For a while in the late morning, he can be found in the fireworks factory perusing the selection very seriously and in Jessica's just as seriously. He's looking for something that isn't bloodstained, okay? This includes the lingerie, though he's more amused than anything at it.
In the afternoon, he's at Videopolis, examining the catapult. Don't mind the interesting shorts he's wearing.]
I wonder if it'd be worth taking apart...

[She is also wearing new clothes. The, ah. The walrus pit may have made her previous dress a poor choice. Besides! This is way more freeing and great!]

She ends up in the lobby with the regain mask not long after, which is when well. That sure is 101 Dalmatian plushes and no sign of Sugarplum anywhere.
Eventually, after presumably being helped out of that mess, she ends up in the fireworks factory looking at the various offerings. Then, selections made, she heads out to the beach to test out the fireworks. Does she know what she's doing? Doubtful, honestly! Maybe you should help her out.]

TUESDAY
MOTIVE: Did you hear something? cw: auditory hallucinations
From the moment you wake up, you start hearing voices, specifically voices of people you know from back home, friend and foe. Regardless of who they are, they keep telling you the one thing you never want them to tell you, either a general statement or something you specifically don’t want them to tell you.
When you leave your room, the Genie is already outside, looking extremely apologetic.]
I’m really sorry guys. When I heard what the master wanted to do to you I tried putting my foot down, I mean this is way too much even for them.
But then they wished for me to do this to you. I’m really sorry but I had to grant it.
… Uh, you probably know by now but the voices won’t go away until one of you guys kill someone else.
[So that's great.]

[Sugarplum hasn't been reacting overtly to the motives so far, but she covers her ears, like that'll help anything.]

X-23 can be found, from the motive announcement to... probably an hour or two later, at the beach uh. Coping? Her jacket has been discarded, at least, but she's sitting in pants and a t-shirt a little ways into the water just sort of. Letting waves wash over her and distinctly not having a fun time. cw auditory hallucinations and very possible discussion of emotional abuse in this one, lads
Later on, in a moment where she manages to regain some kind of composure, she can be found at Videopolis wrapped in a towel from the Island Depot listening to the music and just kind of. Looking very small. ]
Do you think they get tired of playing the same kinds of songs all the time?
[ Later on she's carrying a bunch of fireworks from the Fireworks Factory to the beach. Just like a whole packed armful. That's probably fine! If she sees you, she might nod. ]
Do you want to grab some too? The more the better.

tw: possible auditory hallucinations in later replies, lmk if you wanna opt out!
She does her best to drown them out all through the day, starting with spending much of the morning in the kitchen. With Kronk gone, it seems that Rapunzel has fully taken up the role she took in the afterparty, cooking up breakfast and putting together little snacks for others to munch on throughout the day. It's clear, though, that she's distracted, as she might put too much of one ingredient in a dish, or chop some vegetables or such pretty unevenly...
Later on, she'll be off to the laundromat. It's about time she tries to get the dried blood off her dress after that first trial, but she's staring at the machines, looking clearly lost. She's managed to sort out some of the nicer-smelling detergents, at least!]
Maybe I should just try the sink again...
[Later still, after dinner is had and some of the others begin to turn in, Rapunzel wanders the upper halls of the club, eventually making her way to room 7...]

WEDNESDAY
no subject
Still, he can be seen at least... trying to go about his day, starting with the routine he now has of visiting the walrus pit every morning to check on the poor animals in there and toss lettuce or... whatever other food they suddenly start babbling on about in there. He also visits the weird mask and... gets buried in 101 dalmation plushies like Sugarplum did and has to dig himself out of the pile, though you may also catch him attempting to carry all of these plushies to his room once he's been freed, making several trips...
Eventually the voice of his disapproving father gets a little too loud to ignore, so you can catch him at the theater subjecting himself to all of the terrible movies there in an attempt to drown out that voice with something louder, before cautiously walking over to the fireworks factory and... seriously contemplating setting some off to see if maybe if he gets lucky, he'll rupture his eardrums and be unable to hear for a little while.]

Meeting
Once again, Cassandra sits and waits for others to arrive. Looking... not as poor off as she perhaps should, what with such an intrusive motive plaguing their lives. She's even smiling.
It's probably fine.]
Thanks for showing up. It's been rough so far; this new motive is getting to everyone, and we're not any closer to getting off this island than the last meeting we had. [She pauses, smile disappearing.] Not to mention, we've lost some people who didn't deserve to die.
[She sighs and sits up, back straight.]
I don't need to remind everyone to not kill someone, so let's focus on trying to escaping instead. Come on, people, let's hear some ideas.
[And once the meeting has adjourned, Cassandra has ventured down to the beach for some training... with swords. She's got one in her hands now that she's practicing stances with, and several others with their blades stabbed into the sand.]
