Oh, not just bugs- I'm versed in just about every sort of wildlife, though I'll admit my fish is pretty rusty... hard to practice when you need air to breathe. [He throws that out there with such casualness, like "we've all been there, right? huh? this guy gets it".]

Yep! 'course, it takes time to get fluent and it helps to start young like I did. [Admittedly, the vocabulary of animal languages are much smaller than any human language, which means they're probably not that hard to learn to begin with?] Thinking about studying up on a new language while we're here?
