[It's been one week since your arrival to this godforsaken place, and little seems to have changed since then. The doors and windows remain locked, your reluctant host mingles between guests, and nobody has killed each other...yet. It's only a matter of time before someone gives out, though.

What little solace, if any, is that you wake up with several coins on the nightstand next to your bed. Perhaps you should try putting them in that mask in the salon? You might receive some interesting gifts....]

[Leia hasn't received any of these mysterious coins as of yet, but she is curious as to what they'll produce. She should know better than to be curious; the sight of those plates of insects has her recoiling in disgust.]

In the toilet would be my suggestion. Or the garbage disposal...

No, but I haven't been looking, either. Maybe you could get one from the kitchen...

[Leia's mouth quirks up at the corner.]

Are you going to name them?

[ if x-23 reads the quirk, she doesn't mention. ]

I don't know what I would name them, but maybe...

[ she looks closely at them. ]

I'll have to figure out what they eat.

Maybe leftover food? Bits of garbage?

[ She is just going to absolutely assume this is how it works. ]

[Leia glances at the other girl for a second.]

Or put it in your hair.

[ She nods at bandages, but the second suggestion gives her pause. ]

In... my hair?

[ ... it's not even a protestation, she's just confused by the suggestion?? Like it just hasn't occurred to her to do anything with her hair??? ]

[Leia blinks, several times.]

Yes, like an accessory. You've never worn a scarf in your hair?

[ She thinks for a second. ]

No, never.

[ A beat. ]

There are a lot of things I've never done.

[Leia reaches forward, takes one of the scarves, threads it through her fingers for a moment.]

Would you like me to...I could show you. If you want.

[ Another moment of thought. ]

Okay. Is it... do I have to do anything to it first?

[ She sort of holds some of her hair in a hand, looking at it. Is this genuinely something she's never put actual thought into? Maybe so! ]

[Leia just smiles. She's not good at peopling, sometimes, not one-on-one like this, but this? This she can do. She scoots around so that she's sitting criss-cross applesauce behind X-23, the scarf still held in her hands.]

Just sit still, and tell me if I pull too hard on your hair, okay?

[And if X-23 has no objections, Leia will start to comb through her hair with her fingers, gently detangling any snags or knots as she goes before approximating a center part from forehead to nape.]

[ Well that's... like X-23 keeps her hair in decent shape, but it is very clearly either not a priority or literally no one taught her how to do anything with it! Maybe a little of column a, little of column b, as the genie might say. ]

Okay.

[ But in a rare move for her, X-23 will in fact sit still! But she also apparently has a very generous definition of "too hard," such it is when you're a combat clone assassin and all, not really complaining no matter what. ]

[Luckily, Leia has seen much, much worse. Her own hair being as long as it is, she's dealt with more than a few snarls in her day. So she gets things parted off as best she can, and then pins one half of X-23's hair away with a spare one from beneath her own braid. She's learned it's wisest to keep a few extras handy.

The left side, she begins to Dutch braid, folding the scarf in half and braiding it in along the way.]

You always wear your hair down, huh?
