[Okay, well. That happened! It's probably like 2pm right now, because this all happened at like 4am! So anyway, Sugarplum has set out the rest of her cake from Tuesday out in the lobby. It's just the bottom layer, and the fondant's seen better days but! It's cake!

This isn't exactly a party, per se, but there's also juice and water set out. And it's the salon, so there's alcohol if you're into that. Also there's pancakes! Listen, Sugarplum only knows how to make a limited amount of non-baked good food and the list pretty much starts and ends with pancakes.

Everyone got an invitation, since presumably they would want to wash . . . up.]

I still find that very hard to believe that someone like me could be the town hero...

You definitely were! You brought that baby alien back to his family and they stopped zapping everyone while wearing those super-scary robosuits!

I do remember trying to rescue Kirby... but what I remember is pushing him out of traffic, and the two of us crashing into the theater. After that, the rest is a blur.

Yeah, though I was rude and threw a rock at one of them first! Then I was just floating in this weird dark space for a long time until you and your dad showed up with Kirby! Is that his name? It's cute!

They still shouldn't have been zapping people though, even if you had thrown a rock. I know that Kirby was missing, but it feels like... an overreaction?

Welllllll, they put everything and everyone back where they belonged in the end, so it was like nothing at all had changed. Except me, I guess, but what I mean is that the town was back to normal and they apologized!

I can't believe I'm even suggesting this, but I think the aliens brainwashed you or something into thinking that somehow, or like... didn't bother fixing whatever mistake they made when they unzapped you? I mean, you always used to play baseball, and sure, we didn't get along as teammates, but you seemed to actually really like playing the game.

[Even more than Chicken Little did anyway, who joined primarily to get his dad to like him again.]
