Second Trial

[Once again, it's time for the trial. Once again, the floor of the lobby opens up to lead you down to the trial room. Genie can be found in the center of the stage, smoking a pipe and donning a deerstalker hat.]

It's elementary, my dear Watson. [He paces around the stage, peering through a comically large magnifying glass.] You know how this goes, folks. Find the culprit, do the thing.

[He grimaces, whisking away his costume and rubbing his head.]

I gotta say, this one is...kind of a doozy. I can try and clear some things up--as long as I'm allowed to.

[He glances nervously at the birds up above, which continue to chatter amongst themselves.]

[ TRIAL START! ]

It says poison, so I don't want to touch it too much.

It's empty. And no, just the bottle.

There was no food around them, so it couldn't have been drugged...

Cecil had... white stuff on his face, right? Do you think the poison could've been mixed into whatever that was?

[She didn't do any bodytouching or a lot of investigating, but she at least saw the bodies.]

I think it was shaving cream. Probably...but it'd be pretty pointless.

Even if Cecil didn't eat it, some of it could've gotten in his mouth if someone was forcing it onto his face... maybe that's what the murderer was trying to do?

[Killed by skin-care products. It's like Eugene's worst nightmare.]

That was Cecil’s dream occupation.

I got to do it and he got to die. Looking back on it, I would also choose the later.

So, you're a clown. And we just had a clown murder. Suspicious.

The not-clown that was murdered was my brother. So yes, I am naturally suspect.

However, he was dead to me long before our arrival here.

So, it wouldn't be much to you, to use him to get out of here?
