Second Trial

[Once again, it's time for the trial. Once again, the floor of the lobby opens up to lead you down to the trial room. Genie can be found in the center of the stage, smoking a pipe and donning a deerstalker hat.]

It's elementary, my dear Watson. [He paces around the stage, peering through a comically large magnifying glass.] You know how this goes, folks. Find the culprit, do the thing.

[He grimaces, whisking away his costume and rubbing his head.]

I gotta say, this one is...kind of a doozy. I can try and clear some things up--as long as I'm allowed to.

[He glances nervously at the birds up above, which continue to chatter amongst themselves.]

[She doesn't like violence. Even in the darkest, worst part of their fights, Rapunzel didn't enjoy fighting Cassandra, knowing she'd be hurting her best friend. If Kronk's execution is anything like Bill's, it's going to be bad, but something feels... wrong, about not watching.]

I have to. Kronk is a good person, and he doesn't deserve whatever's going to be done for him. I... I have to watch, so it's like he's not alone.

[Cassandra listens, and... she gets it. She didn't like the violence either, even when she threw her all into fighting Rapunzel, she was hurting. She just wanted someone else to hurt, to know that she had beaten someone.

This was disgusting. They had to stand here and watch public executions. And she can't let Rapunzel do that alone.]
