[For the first time in several weeks, there is nothing to wake you from your slumber. No screaming walruses, no explosions, just silence.

A silence that would've been welcome, if not for the fact that the voices you've all been hearing in your head are notably quiet. Something is off. Maybe you can try and convince yourself that this is all just a dream, but as per the rules of the motive, someone must have killed last night.

As you stir yourself from your beds, the only thing for you all to do is investigate.]

[Yikes indeed. Being the one who found the body, Rapunzel feels... responsible to help, so she's going to start by gently rolling Daisy flat onto her back. Just... to make her look a little more at peace.

Are the bruises on her neck the only sign of trauma?]

[The bruises on her neck are the most obvious signs of trauma--however, if Rapunzel looks closely, there are a few more cuts and scrapes along her arms and face. Nothing deadly, but they're definitely there.]

[Do they look like they were done with a weapon? Or perhaps one of the glass knickknacks shattered around her?

Additionally, are there any marks on her hands that might look like defensive wounds?]

[For the cuts and scrapes? It's difficult to tell, exactly. However, there are definitely a few bruises and cuts on her hands and arms--defensive wounds, if Rapunzel knows what those might look like!]

[She hangs out with pub thugs in her spare time back home, has gotten into quite a few fights in her journey beyond Corona, and has seen at least two people die in front of her. She totally knows what they are!

.... Someone please put this princess in therapy.

But anyway. One more thing about the body, before she checks around it; does it look like the bruises were done with an object, or someone's hands?]

[Well, the bruises on Daisy's neck certainly look more like handprints than, say, if she had been strangled with a rope. But the markings are so blotchy from the bruise blooming, it would be difficult to match hands to those prints.

As for the other bruises, it's difficult to tell!]

Right, let's... let's check around the body. Cass is looking through the rest of the store, but what about close to Daisy? Anything interesting in all the mess?]

[Nothing around Daisy, beyond the mess that Cass is investigating. But...there's something else off about Daisy. Namely, her clothes.]

[Well, it looks as if they've been straightened out. Her hair looks the same, as well.
