[Nobody liked that. Least of all Cassandra. For the third time now, they had been forced to piece together a murderer's puzzle and send that murderer to their death. And while most probably didn't like Sugarplum near the end... Cass couldn't find it in her heart to be mad at her motives. After all, how long did she wait for others to give up on her? Leave her behind?

...She can't sit on those thoughts forever. She needs to do something with her time, and her hands. Rapunzel stepped up last time, now it's her turn; there's still time left in the day, enough to head to the depot and start preparing a note that gets slid under every living person's door in the club.

Meet me down at the beach for a bonfire. Drinks and snacks are provided, but you can bring your own.
Let's try and cheer up, or just burn things.

And, true to her word, there's a pretty nicely raging bonfire set up on the sandy shore. Along with a cooler or two of drinks and snacks from the depot.

Not too many sweets though. Who still has a sweet tooth after that?]

Well, chickens are prey animals. The ones we have back home are even purposefully bred just for eating. Foxes and humans aren't prey.

I'm glad. I want you to be able to stand up for yourself... But, I also know that's a pretty hard thing to learn, when you haven't really done it before. So, I'd like to help! [a grin] You remind me a lot of my little brother. Right down to the glasses.

I'm an only child, so I don't really know what it's like to have siblings. So what was your brother like?

A dork. [...] But, he's my dork. He's the genius of the family. And more powerful than he gives himself credit. I definitely wouldn't be here today without him and Sophie.

Both my siblings are really good. My sister, Sophie, she's around your age. She's also definitely a better witch than me; if my family ends up busting in here to free me, she'll be leading the charge.

[but she's. not really expecting that, anymore. not since the first week.]

Wow... when we do get out of here, I hope I'm able to meet them someday.
