At least the Genie seems pretty darn friendly for a Genie?

Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be able to send you guys home anytime soon. But on the bright side, minus some certain jerks (looking at you, Bill), no one seems blood thirsty enough to resort to murder, not when they could try to escape. And with a helpful (well... helpful as he can be) host, perhaps no one will die!

... Yeah I can't even pretend to joke.

As you wake up the morning following the host appearing himself, there will be a list of club rules next to all the profiles. Which should at least discourage Bill Cipher from murdering everyone the instant he stops being a puppet.

Still, the week seems pretty peaceful, and you can explore the hotel more if you like. or even chat with the Genie if you want to squeeze some information out of him/befriend him! He's not picky!

The magic I've dealt with has had... ups and downs. But it's not all bad, maybe even a little good.

I don't think magic is good or bad on its own. That comes from the person who's using it.

Yes, it might be useful in the short-term but I'd be rather worried about it in the long term. We have several people here who are [Diplomatic pause.] uncouth.

Yes, I had noticed that. I hoped it was a good thing but now that you've mentioned it, I'm not so sure it is.

Let's hope not. [Quiet, then her attention is back.] I'm trusting that nobody here is that stupid to go along with the master's wishes.

I do so hope you're right, Miss Cassandra. [Sugarplum's ever-present smile falters for a moment.] There are so many people here I would hate to see die.

Yes, that would be best. It's such a pity that Genie can't help us more - he seems so nice, but his master must be unspeakably wicked.

Yeah, being under the thumb of someone like that master sounds like a rough time. [And a familiar one, which is why she's grown to the idea of helping him.]

...If a genie is supposed to grant your wishes, you'd think whoever's behind all this would just take the wishes and be done with it. Why keep the genie around?
