[Well that was a fun trial, wasn't it? An innocent man got brutally killed by everyone, and while you found out more about the person responsible of all this all it really amounts to is "The Genie is insistent that you don't want to meet him".

And yet you took this warning from a powerful being to go "yeah we can take them!". Y'all oughta be ashamed of yourselves.

On the bright side though, when you wake up you will find out that more of the island has opened up! It's not much but at least you can wash your clothes.

... There is a nonzero chance that the Genie quickly built that as an apology for all that blood. Whoops.]

[Last time someone(s) died, a new part of the island opened up. This is true this time, and Tadashi's decided to check out the new additions.

For a while in the late morning, he can be found in the fireworks factory perusing the selection very seriously and in Jessica's just as seriously. He's looking for something that isn't bloodstained, okay? This includes the lingerie, though he's more amused than anything at it.

In the afternoon, he's at Videopolis, examining the catapult. Don't mind the interesting shorts he's wearing.]

I wonder if it'd be worth taking apart...

I don't know. Perhaps? We might be able to build something else with it.

[She is also wearing new clothes. The, ah. The walrus pit may have made her previous dress a poor choice. Besides! This is way more freeing and great!]

I was thinking some sort of boat. There's not enough materials right here, but if we scavenge stuff from around the island, we might be able to make something seaworthy.

[It can't be too hard, right?]

[I can't believe this is how the whole fucking cast dies.]

I can't think that they would mind terribly if we, ah, borrowed? Some shelves from the depot or the library.

[C'mon, crime boy! Let's do some crime.]

[Better to die on their own terms? Or something like it.]

As long as no buildings get destroyed, I think so. [It's one of the rules after all.]

We'll need a lot of shelves for something that can hold...12 people now?

Shelves are part of the merchandise, are they not? [She has..... a very loose view of what "property" is.] There's also trees. Do you think we could cut one down?

We'll have to find an axe...

[He's also an engineer and not a lumberjack, but they'll probably be fine.]

Shelves...hm, if they're not bolted to the walls.

[If they're not attached, they aren't destroying anything, right?]

Fireworks Factory

[Hmm... all of this looks familiar. It kind of looks like the stuff Varian creates for fun; not one of his big inventions, but the little things he likes to goof off with.]

These things... blow up, right?

Sometimes. Most just shoot sparks, but they look cool.

[He nudges a knee-high tube firework nearby with one foot.]

Like these fountain ones.

[Ohhhh you're piqued her curiosity now, Tadashi!]

Fountain? What do those look like? [!!!] Oooh, do you think we can take some outside???

It sprays sparks into the air. Sometimes smoke.

[He'll grab the firework and haul it over to the door. None of them have any money besides the weird coins for the mask, so he's going to assume that the mannequin in charge doesn't care if they just take stuff.]

I can show you, but it won't be as impressive during the day as it would at night.

[Look, Rapunzel is trying to keep track of how much she thinks everything costs. She'll just... reimburse all the shops when they escape and she can get her money back from home.]

Still!! I've gotta see this!

[She's practically skipping as she follows him back outside, and begins heading towards the beach; if it sprays sparks everywhere, better to do so in a big open space, right?]

Besides, that just means we'll have to do that again later, right?

Hard to say. Never know when you might need a catapult for something.

[Could be worse. It could be boxers with lip prints all over them, but he has more modesty than that.]

Good point. Let's not catapult any more people, though.

Now, catapulting other things, on the other hand...

...What're you planning on catapulting?

[Listen, if you had to wear underwear from the 1800s you'd happily try out some boxers too.]

Things - not people, I swear. But if there's anything we'd have to fight, a catapult could come in handy.

A boat, maybe. I'd need more materials, but this would be a good start.

What materials and are they easily accessible on the island.

Wood, mostly. There are trees around, and Sugarplum thinks we might be able to use some shelves from the shops. I'm not sure how far we can go to 'destroy' buildings, but we can figure that out as we go.

[Leia is also vaguely curious about the catapult. Even though it's technically a murder weapon, it has some promise as far as ammunition. She steps over with her arms folded, looking it over for a moment—and then her gaze slides over to Tadashi. And Tadashi's shorts.]

Those are...interesting. [She nods toward them.]

[Interesting is a good word for them.]

Yeah, they're...something, aren't they? It was this or jeans with lace and I'm not a lace guy.

[Maybe he'll get a pair and remove the lace.]

Got any thoughts about the catapult?

Oh. [Leia stifles a laugh, but she does so poorly.] Yes, I think this was the better choice.

[She glances back at the catapult.]

My mechanical engineering tutoring was less than I'd have hoped, unfortunately. But I think it could be useful if we parted it out.

[tadaishi]

[It's okay, it's funny. He's laughing a little too, partly because she is and partly trying to imagine himself in something like that.]

It'd be great if we could repurpose it into something we could use to get out of here. That's what I've been thinking. A boat would be best and easiest.
