[Well that was a fun trial, wasn't it? An innocent man got brutally killed by everyone, and while you found out more about the person responsible of all this all it really amounts to is "The Genie is insistent that you don't want to meet him".
And yet you took this warning from a powerful being to go "yeah we can take them!". Y'all oughta be ashamed of yourselves.
On the bright side though, when you wake up you will find out that more of the island has opened up! It's not much but at least you can wash your clothes.
... There is a nonzero chance that the Genie quickly built that as an apology for all that blood. Whoops.]

I keep hearing what sounds like my dad talking to me. Saying stuff that... I kind of already thought about myself or expect him to say about me anyway, but... it's more distracting than it usually is. At least before it was quieter.

[Chicken Little has begun chopping the vegetables in front of him while still speaking. He's been bottling these feelings for a long time, but it's easy to say it when its anyone other than the one person he should be talking to about how much they are hurting him with this.]
... And he doesn't even have to say it, I can just tell he thinks that by looking at him. Like... like he's embarrassed to be seen with me. S-s-so he's always telling me that I should just lay low and keep my head down and not stand out... because everyone in town was saying that I was crazy and he doesn't want me doing anything else to make them mad.

[This is.... hm. This doesn't even feel like what she went through with Gothel, and that really freaks Rapunzel out. She knows there are terrible parents out there, parents who will use their children or toss them aside or try and sweet-talk them into being compliant and meek, but this...]
