[Well that was a fun trial, wasn't it? An innocent man got brutally killed by everyone, and while you found out more about the person responsible of all this all it really amounts to is "The Genie is insistent that you don't want to meet him".

And yet you took this warning from a powerful being to go "yeah we can take them!". Y'all oughta be ashamed of yourselves.

On the bright side though, when you wake up you will find out that more of the island has opened up! It's not much but at least you can wash your clothes.

... There is a nonzero chance that the Genie quickly built that as an apology for all that blood. Whoops.]

Oh, a lot of the time back home, yeah~! [She blinks, tilting her head a little at her voice still coming out a bit weirdly. And also at the voices in her head.] I think there's a different way you have to do dresses, but it's all about how delicate they are. [She grabs an empty laundry basket and turns it over to use as a stepping stool to look at the actual buttons.]

[Oh no, buttons. Rapunzel had worked out the stove and such easily enough thanks to the dials - that had been akin to figuring out one of Varian's machines. But this... digital thing is really throwing her for a loop.]

Well, this dress is pretty sturdy. It's seen me through a whole lot of adventures, after all!

[And barely any rips!]

I know how to wash mud and dirt and all that out of it... but never, um. Blood. Do you think this machine could really do it...?

[She seems focused on the task at hand, but her head tilts ever so slightly as she pays attention to Foxy's voice. Just what seems so off about it...?]

Oh, you need a specific kind of detergent for that! Though I think it's more for little spots than big stains, but I guess you just use more! [She hops off the basket and goes to hunt through the various bottles before pulling one out.] And you have to rub some of it in before you put it through the machine, I think?

Right, makes sense.

[Somewhere out there, Cass's old lady in waiting senses are probably tingling.]

Y'know... you're talking kind of different now. It's nice.

It is? [That makes her perk up.] I'm...glad to hear you think that! It's been so strange, having my memories come back like that...

[WAIT HOLD UP-]

Memories? You mean you were able to remember more from before you changed?? That's great! Oh wow, Foxy, I bet you must feel so much better!

[redloxy]

I did, actually! [She grins for a moment.] Except...then the Genie's master made him do that. And now...I keep hearing voices saying I should go back to acting like I did the first week here.

[It's weird being vulnerable like that, but, well...she was already vulnerable with Rapunzel, even if it wasn't with her full mental faculties.]

[Oh... oh no....]

Those voices... you know they're all wrong, right?

[It's hard to listen to, she absolutely agrees with that. Hearing Gothel gloating about how she was right about the real world and how foolish Rapunzel is being has been hard, and she's dealt with that sort of thing all her life. Still...]

You can't listen to them. You just need to listen to you, and what you think makes you happy.

What makes me happy...baseball! Baseball used to make me really happy. I was the star player!

[She brightens, then frowns again at a voice that simply repeats some facts.] Well...until Chicken Little made that game-winning home run. Then he was everyone's hero until the town thought he was lying about the aliens.
