[Well that was a fun trial, wasn't it? An innocent man got brutally killed by everyone, and while you found out more about the person responsible of all this all it really amounts to is "The Genie is insistent that you don't want to meet him".

And yet you took this warning from a powerful being to go "yeah we can take them!". Y'all oughta be ashamed of yourselves.

On the bright side though, when you wake up you will find out that more of the island has opened up! It's not much but at least you can wash your clothes.

... There is a nonzero chance that the Genie quickly built that as an apology for all that blood. Whoops.]

Kind of? I mean... they're not very good, but they're distracting.

[The movies, he means. Though this could also apply to the voice too.]

[She does certainly look like the Foxy he remembered before now, he's noticed.]

...better, kind of? My memories are still really blurry, but this feels more...right? Even if it makes the voices meaner. [She moves to slump one seat down from him.] Do you know how to adjust the sound?

[He doesn't know what kind of voice Foxy is hearing, though for a moment he hears his dad asking him what he's going to do if Foxy goes back to being mean to him once she gets all her memories back. Chicken Little, for now, chooses to ignore it rather than thinking about it.]

Uh... I'm not sure? Maybe we could ask the Genie to turn it up louder for us?

[Funnily enough, some of the voices are also suggesting to her that even if he says he liked her old self better, he might change his mind once they get home!]

Yeah...it sounds like the kind of little thing he could do. [She turns back to the screen which is showing Artemis Fowl right now.] This one doesn't look that bad. [Guess who's never read the original books?]

I think it's based off some book, but... I haven't read it yet.

[Every time we think we've hit the cursed peak of Adventurer's Club new cursedness comes along.]

Ohhhhh, maybe it's one of those movies that's not like the book. I wonder how it's different? [She settles back for a moment to enjoy the current action scene.]

Maybe... huh. Now I actually kind of want to find and read the book after we get out of this place.

[... This is fine. They won't be disappointed when they realize how much the movie is considered bad by comparison, right?]

Yeah, I guess you could. I bet it'll have way less action scenes, though. [They're easier to film, after all!]

I guess it's kind of like how that movie they made about you saving the town just made the aliens complete bad guys...from the Foxloxian Sector. [She's just remembered that. Why wasn't she angry about that?]

Wait, did it really? But you didn't even have anything to do with the aliens invading!

I didn't! [She lifts her paws into the air in protest.] I can't even remember where or who gave the movie makers that idea! Or why they'd have used it!

[Fuck Hollywood too, honestly.]

Yeah, that's just... that's just mean.

[... But then again, this is the same town that was okay with making a movie devoted entirely to making fun of him.]

I'm really sorry that they did that, Foxy.

[redloxy]

...the first movie they made of you was pretty mean too, wasn't it? [She's been trying to think about that, and her thoughts have gone in some weird directions. And admittedly, there's a part of her that still worries about retribution for being too mean.] It...you were right, after all, and you didn't actually make the water tower fall.

[Really, it's that fire truck driver's fault.]

Yeah... I mean, I guess it wouldn't have fallen if I hadn't raised the alarm and caused a panic, but... well, now you know what I was trying to warn everyone back then.

[She nods.] It was just a piece of the alien ship that had the whole camouflage thing on it, right? But it totally looked a lot like a piece of the sky...when all those aliens arrived it looked like the entire sky was falling apart, for a moment.
