ADVENTURE IS OUT THERE...

The first thing you notice upon gaining consciousness is the smell. The air smells musty and woody, like the back corner of some forgotten tourist trap. As you stir yourself awake, you find yourself in a wicker bed with a soft sheet draped over you. The room’s walls are wood-paneled, and a nearby desk displays a digital clock reading “9 AM”. A singular potted plant provides the barest amount of decoration--though, the exact plant species differs between rooms. A note written in flowing cursive has been taped to your door.

MEETING IN THE LOBBY AT NOON

As you make your way out of your room, you’ll find yourself on a balcony overlooking a octagonal lobby below. Various artifacts and trophies decorate the club from top to bottom, cluttering the walls and any available surface. From here, you can clearly see that the marble floor of the lobby is decorated to look like a compass. Descending the stairs will reveal that, in addition to the artifacts mounted on the walls, several plaques have been put up detailing the lives of those trapped here--including you.

If you peer out the windows, you’ll see a tropical island sprawled out before you, overgrown with palm trees and shrubs. If you peer far enough above the treeline, you might even be able to see the ocean. No matter how hard you try, the front door is sealed shut and the windows seem impossible to break.

You've got until noon 'til the meeting happens. For now...enjoy the club, if you can.

Everyone keeps mentioning this 'Earth,' but I've never heard of it in my life. What galaxy is it located in? What sector?

[He’s a bit bewildered by the...fact that this very very human looking woman is an alien, probably. Bob is learning very slowly that a number of these individuals are not to be trifled with..]

You’re not from Earth, then. Not in the Milky Way, even.

[Somehow it...lacks any complimentary air, as Leia cocks her head at him.]

Would I be asking these questions if that weren't true? I hail from Alderaan.

[And yet, the words themselves more than make up for the lack of weight behind them.]

How interesting, really. The idea of intelligent life on other planets is a mere hypothetical on my world. You’ll have to forgive me for my disbelief, assuming that this far-fetched scenario is not simply the end result of my mind finally collapsing in on itself.

Is it? Strange. My world has been traveling between planets for a very long time. Many places are home multiple races of people, even.

[Leia smirks.]

Though I can't speak to your soundness of mind, unfortunately.

[Charming, yet punchable.]

Does this architecture [gestures at...the terrible wicker decor and the ugly walls] resemble anything you've seen in your travels? It's very reminiscent of tacky Earth decor.

[Leia glances around, wrinkling her nose.]

It could be Endorian. I've never been there, but I know their aesthetic is...rustic.

I'll remember not to invite an Endorian inhabitant a dinner party anytime soon.

[Quick with the witty retorts even if he's still a little convinced he's having a lucid nightmare.]

Ewoks. That's what they're called. I've only met one once, when I was small...they're very cute, actually. But a little bit difficult to hold a conversation with.
