You aint never had a friend, never had a friend...
[So
At least the Genie seems pretty darn friendly for a Genie?
Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be able to send you guys home anytime soon. But on the bright side, minus some certain jerks (looking at you, Bill), no one seems blood thirsty enough to resort to murder, not when they could try to escape. And with a helpful (well... helpful as he can be) host, perhaps no one will die!
... Yeah I can't even pretend to joke.
As you wake up the morning following the host appearing himself, there will be a list of club rules next to all the profiles. Which should at least discourage Bill Cipher from murdering everyone the instant he stops being a puppet.
Still, the week seems pretty peaceful, and you can explore the hotel more if you like. or even chat with the Genie if you want to squeeze some information out of him/befriend him! He's not picky!
Enjoy your time while you can, adventurers...]
[MONDAY TUESDAY WEDNESDAY THURSDAY FRIDAY SATURDAY]
{OOC: Welcome to your first weekly log! Since this is a peace week, there will be no murder occurring this week! Feel free to mingle with each other and use the regain mask if you have long enough threads.
Have fun everyone <3}

Monday was spent getting her bearings of this new living space. Tuesday sees Cassandra up bright and early, venturing into the lobby, and attempting to get that damn door open. What does that entail? Mostly a lot of inspecting the door, pulling and pushing on it, and one instance of a running shoulder tackle, to no effect.
She ends up seated cross-legend before it, chin in hand... obviously frustrated.
Eventually, Cassandra gives up on that errand. Anyone looking for her will be able to spot her in the trophy room, inspecting the cluster of artifacts and animal trophies with varying levels of interest.]
And I thought the spire was full of junk. But maybe some of these are actually magic... Of course, I wouldn't know how to use them if they were, but one thing at a time...
lobby
If I was allowed to break stuff, I'd be able to actually help here.
no subject
[It would have been open by yesterday had she not looked over the rules once they appeared. Grumble grumble.]
Whatever's out there, they don't want us to see it. Not even the genie could open it.

Maybe it's not actually an island after all.

[ She frowns at the door. ]
Or there's a boat or something out there.

Trophy Room
Wow, this collection is nothing compared to yours! I bet you've got way more packed in your wardrobe back home. Some of them, though... [She walks up to the wall where a blunderbuss is mounted, head tilting to one side as she examines it.] What do you think they are?
no subject
Well, I wouldn't say I've got way more... [But she'd like to boast. Except Rapunzel's moved on, which is when Cassandra's eyes fall on the weapon mounted on the wall. It's almost like nothing she's ever seen before.]
Looks kinda like that "Project Obsidian" thing Varian shot me with.
no subject
She'd be lying if she said she hadn't seen that image in her nightmares since Zhan Tiri's defeat.]
Should we... should we make sure nobody can use them...?
no subject
She'd be lying if she didn't have nightmares about it herself, where she wasn't able to break free.]
How do you propose we do that?
no subject
If we can take them apart... maybe take out the mechanisms inside? They won't be able to fire if the gears and such don't work.
[She doesn't really know how the weapons work; Varian kept Project Obsidian a secret from her right up until he and Eugene asked for her approval to use it, and she hadn't wanted to think about it after that. But it can't be too complicated, right...?]

Trophy Room
[The source of the voice is not immediately clear. One advantage of being a puppet, it's a lot easier to hide. Unless you're desperate for attention.]
[So, you know, give it a few seconds.]
no subject
Who said that?
[She turns around a couple times, scanning for foes.]
no subject
[That voice is definitely coming from one of the displays in here.]
no subject
Aaaaand what happens if I don't? Oh, mysterious fairy god-angle?
no subject
You miss out on the sweet magic that'd let you fight your way out of here, obviously!

[Hello! Sugarplum's just. Here. Suddenly. Don't worry about it.]

She reacts with a jolt that's quickly squashed down at the sight of, well. Ma'am your outfit is a lot, and it makes Cass vaguely nervous.]
Marnie. The... little girl that's descended from witches, right?
[She skimmed the bios]
no subject
Yes, she can't currently do magic but she certainly knows about it! My experience with it is, ah. More mechanical in nature.
no subject
The magic I've dealt with has had... ups and downs. But it's not all bad, maybe even a little good.

Lobby, cw:sexism
well here we go
[You're a talking fox in a dress. But, then again, she's talked to demon warlocks and genies.]
I should have used my foot. [She rubs her shoulder. It'll bruise tomorrow, but she hoped the door would be open before that.] I'd use a sword or something to pry it open, but there's rules we have to follow.
honestly just assume a general sexism cw for this whole thread probs
Oh, I was actually wondering why you didn't get one of the guys to do it! Like that Kronk fellow looks really big and strong, right?
no subject
Well, he's... definitely big, I guess. Maybe I could try and use him as a battering ram? [She's half kidding.] But I just figured I'd do this on my own, instead.
