The first thing you notice upon gaining consciousness is the smell. The air smells musty and woody, like the back corner of some forgotten tourist trap. As you stir yourself awake, you find yourself in a wicker bed with a soft sheet draped over you. The room’s walls are wood-paneled, and a nearby desk displays a digital clock reading “9 AM”. A singular potted plant provides the barest amount of decoration--though, the exact plant species differs between rooms. A note written in flowing cursive has been taped to your door.

MEETING IN THE LOBBY AT NOON

As you make your way out of your room, you’ll find yourself on a balcony overlooking a octagonal lobby below. Various artifacts and trophies decorate the club from top to bottom, cluttering the walls and any available surface. From here, you can clearly see that the marble floor of the lobby is decorated to look like a compass. Descending the stairs will reveal that, in addition to the artifacts mounted on the walls, several plaques have been put up detailing the lives of those trapped here--including you.

If you peer out the windows, you’ll see a tropical island sprawled out before you, overgrown with palm trees and shrubs. If you peer far enough above the treeline, you might even be able to see the ocean. No matter how hard you try, the front door is sealed shut and the windows seem impossible to break.

You've got until noon 'til the meeting happens. For now...enjoy the club, if you can.

Hey, thanks! I'll be taking those off your hands in a bit. [Now with everything at the ready, Kronk goes forth with the final assembly.]

[He twirls the salt and pepper shakers in his hands with a flourish before shaking both over the eggs in a figure-eight motion, along with a dash of paprika. Then, putting all three seasonings to the side, he liberally drizzles the dish with a thick sheet of yellow-gold sauce. To top it all off, he pinches a handful of chives, sprinkling them down on the plate from a moderate height so they fall just right... not too bunched together, not too spread apart... Oh yeah, it's all coming together.]

[Leia nods, shortly, in agreement.]

I'm Leia. Let's agree to find each other before this meeting?

[She's beginning to feel...left out.]

Everyone keeps mentioning this 'Earth,' but I've never heard of it in my life. What galaxy is it located in? What sector?

[Sorry, Foxy. This is all just...a little bit much for Leia's poor brain right now.]

[Well, okay. There's at least some common ground, here. It helps, though...it means Leia can turn to face the other young woman fully, her attitude quickly melting away.]

Then I'm sorry, too. For the both of us.

[A man that tall shouldn't be termed 'adorable,' but. Leia can't argue with the fact that his eagerness is kinda cute, okay? She chuckles to herself.]

I believe it's got mint in it, and Alderaanian sweet gourd. [Basically, cucumber.] As for Gorak, you can either hunt them wild or raise them. I doubt if you'll find anything like it around here, though.

[She moves to the side of the window opposite him, examining it for a moment; hinges on the sides, so it must open out. Rapunzel presses her hand on the wood of the window, close to the central groove where the two halves meet, and shuffle her stance to brace herself a little better.]

I guess... I've never been camping with a tent. Before we got stranded on that desert island, we were traveling together in a big caravan! That was super fun.

[... Nevermind how absolutely hellish it could get when emotions were running high or when they were trapped in there because of bad weather. Then all friendships were off the table.]

No, I get what you mean. Part of it's probably just looking into public records, but other stuff... sure makes you wonder how they found out about it. [That last parenthetical bit about his father, specifically? Not too fond about seeing that in writing here.]

[Kronk quickly files “Alderaanian sweet gourd + mint” in a folder in his brain labelled “Mintea” which goes into the comically oversized filing cabinet in his brain labelled “Recipes”.]

Oh, I wouldn’t rule it out... We don’t know where we are, right? So it might be somewhere with Gorak and sweet gourd all over the place. [...which still wouldn't make much of a difference considering they can't leave the building, but...]

[Somehow it...lacks any complimentary air, as Leia cocks her head at him.]

Would I be asking these questions if that weren't true? I hail from Alderaan.

[Leia bobs her head with a quiet laugh.]

Fair enough. If you do happen to come across any, I hope you'll let me know.

[And she holds out her hand; she's got a very firm handshake for someone so tiny.]
