Wouldn't you like to play and party forever?
[It's been one week since your arrival to this godforsaken place, and little seems to have changed since then. The doors and windows remain locked, your reluctant host mingles between guests, and nobody has killed each other...yet. It's only a matter of time before someone gives out, though.
What little solace, if any, is that you wake up with several coins on the nightstand next to your bed. Perhaps you should try putting them in that mask in the salon? You might receive some interesting gifts....]

Like, a cake-cake, although it probably looks considerably wonkier than that photo. She's working with garbage tools here, but she's trying her best. We! Can! Have! One! Nice! Thing!]

[He’s just here to fetch himself some coffee and yet— staring at that wonky cake.]

[For example, she did most of the detail-work with frosting scooped into paper cone made from the paper in everyone's rooms. Ideal? Not in the slightest. Functional? Yes.]

[okay woah that escalated quickly]

I don't know that you should be speaking like that here. One might think you were planning something awful.

[Bob's apology does sound somewhat genuine(...?) tone once this is thrown at him, though he very much curves back around to speaking in a more dignified manner of speaking in just a second.]
I unfortunately know what that slander about me on the walls makes me sound like, and it's why I'm not going out of my way to interact with others. The attempted murderer at the murderer event. I assure you, however, that I'm quite over that lifestyle.
Lovely cake, by the by.

Would you like to try some? It's not as tasty as I might have made it at home, but cake is cake.

Whyever not? I mean, of course humans can't eat sweets all the time, but as long as you brush your teeth you should eat as many sweets as you want.
[She's pulling the top layer of cake down to cut a piece as she says this, but as Regent of the Land of Sweets, the idea that there's a limit to how many sweets a person can enjoy is preposterous.]

[Surveys that cake for a second.]
...Did that fucking bottle-trash let EVERYONE keep their magic except me?!

[He looks at the cake again.]
Don't believe it, sorry not sorry. No such confectionery is ever actually rendered by mortal hands alone. Like all those Cake Wars guys? Sold their souls, every one.

- and then we roll out the fondant like so, making sure that it's bigger than we need it to be. That way it goes on smoothly when we put it onto the cake, which is frosted so the fondant sticks to it.

What's fondant?

[She takes a bit of leftover that's on the table and casually forms it into a bird, although it's all made in white.]
See?

And you can eat it?

...sorry to walk in while you're working, ma'am... [He rubs his neck awkwardly, avoiding eye contact. Shrugging the other arm to gesture towards the oven.] You still using that? I was, uh, thinking about baking up a loaf, myself.

[There's just. A bunch of cakes cooking on plates. Which was as close to wire racks as she was getting, so she's making do.]

[But! With there being no need to wait, he starts moving past Sugar Plum, maintaining a good amount of distance from her workspace. Just trying to remain as unobtrusive as possible on his way to wash his hands before working with any ingredients.] You do this often? Um. Baking, that is.
